Glenn is presently teaching bass, jazz theory and harmony, and jazz ensembles at UC Berkeley, The Jazzschool, and The California Jazz Conservatory.

No two students are the same or have the same goals. Therefore, I tailor make the lessons to best fit the student's desired area of study. I place a lot of emphasis on developing a student's technique, harmonic and melodic concept, time keeping ability and groove.
Lessons are offered in person or with Zoom.
Electric and Acoustic Bass
All ages and levels
I teach both Electric and Acoustic Bass. I also teach Jazz Theory and Improvisation.
I attended Mannes College of Music and Berklee College of music. I studied privately with Buster Williams, George Marz, Homer Mensch, Mike Longo and Jon Burr.
I have taught jazz bass and improvisation since 1985 and ensembles since 1993.
